On Saturday May 31st - The Newport Ramblers are 'doing' a walk (7 miles) which starts in Monmouth Town Centre and includes the Kymin.

St. Davids Praise

St David’s Praise presents: ‘Behold The Man’ - The life of Jesus through theatrical story-telling, music and song.

On Saturday May 31st, 7.30 pm at St David’s Hall, Cardiff.

This year the usual elements of a 300 voice choir, symphony-sized orchestra, great music both to listen to and to participate in, are combined with a new factor, the Lacey Theatre Company. They will be performing extracts from Rob Lacey's "The Liberator" - snippets form the life of Jesus - while the music will be a reflection and response.

It promises to be a very exciting and moving evening and is suitable for Christians and those who wouldn't normally attend church - it is suitable, too, for all ages. Including a special appearance by Postman Pat.

Ticket prices are very low for such a venue at just £9 and £10 pounds with concessions.- Book as soon as possible to get a good seat.

Helen Shapiro Gospel Concert

Saturday May 31st in Cwmbran County Hall and starts at 7.30pm.

Helen soared to international stardom at age 14. She is perhaps most well known for her single ‘Walking Back to Happiness’ and for performing with the Beatles, but she also achieved high acclaim as a Jazz singer.

Helen became a committed believer in Jesus in 1987, and since 2002 has devoted herself to presenting gospel outreaches.

Helen will be sharing her testimony of how she, as a Jewess, discovered that Jesus is the promised Messiah and will be singing a selection of worship songs. She also will include the ever popular ‘Walking Back to Happiness’ and then finish the evening with a powerful gospel challenge.
